B. With the door scribed for the correct margins, it is then trimmed and bevel planed to those lines.

C. Now you can mortise out for the hinges using a hinge mortising template and router or hand method.

D. Install the hinges and hang the door. Check your margins. Rescribe and trim if necessary. Scribe and cut off the door bottom for threshold or flooring.

E. With the door properly hung you are ready to bore out for the lockset and mortise out for your latch and strike plate.

F. With the strike plate adjusted so the door edge aligns with the jamb edge you are ready to install the permanent doorstop
